Bob Hope was born in London. He emigrated with his parents to the USA in 1907. After some years on the stage as a dancer and comedian, he made his first film appearance in The Big Broadcast of 1938 singing "Thanks for the Memory', which became his signature tune.

I think to be a celebrity or anyone for that matter and remain happily married to the same person for 69yrs is inspiring.
