Percussion Jam?

Anyone know of an open perscussion jam around? I just moved to newark and would love to play. If its strings ( cello violin) thats cool too. Ive always wanted to play with a violinist as well ( ok string pluckers get yer mind back on your instruments this is about music.. Send me a shout okay? Thanks. Im William by the way
