first person starts with one or two positive sentences, next with one or two negative ones, etc.

Frrances Jones mentioned this in the current The Writer magazine issue, said it was Ella Mae Scoville's idea at a writers group

short version of example in the mag was
someone sold his car for lots of money
but the check bounded
etc.

I can imagine what y'all would do with that with something like a first date story....
