No need to check the schedule. Its always about Black angst, Spanish angst, love, Lesbian angst, Gay angst. Sometimes I think the point is to see how fast you can spew out the words rather than let the content speak for itself. Good time for more than a taste of NYC culture.

Myself...I got a 7 out of 10 then learned that I had to read two other poems that night (it was already 10:45PM) which I didn't have. Dot, who used to MC, is waaay awesome. The real deal. Hernandez is also cool (bastard stole one of my lines....[grin] )

I have actually never been there but heard about it for the first time years ago and always wanted to check it out - would like to go some time armed with some poems and poets
