The Presentation:
When it comes to BDSM play, we always try to cover all the bases pertaining to safety. From novice players to the most experienced; no matter how safely you play, you never know when you may be faced with a medical situation.
After all, BDSM does involve at the least some risk to it. Example of this can be breath play, cutting, tight bondage, extreme canning and flogging, fireplay, etc....
We are happy to have Firefly and Hawkeye, two well experienced medical professionals, who will teach us what to do, if an unfortunate incident may come across your path.
Time is always an important issue if something goes wrong...Many people do the wrong thing when it comes to emergency situation. They mean well, but, in many cases, they just don't know what to do...
Here are just some of the things you will learn from this demo:
How to deal with different type of injuries which may arise from scene play; such as short to prolonged numbness, extreme discoloration, extreme bruising, seizure, what to do if your partner faints suddenly, loss of blood due to deep cuts, and other emergency situation will be covered.
At the very least, you will learn the fundamentals of handling emergency situation.
We feel this is one of the most important demos you will ever attend.....
Firefly's Bio:
Practicing medicine for the last 13 years. Firefly has a broad knowledge of afflictions, some physical and more recently some mental. Dr. Firefly has many interests in the BDSM world and besides living a 24/7 relationship has numerous play partners. She is a regular fixture at the Paddles --- always looking for trouble-and correcting the wrong.
Hawkeye's bio:
Involved with EMS for the last 12 years, as well as, a police officer, a paramedic, and an instructor trainer for a National Health and safety organization - Hawkeye has seen a lot of everything. First exposed to the scene in college via the Internet, Hawkeye has been an active player in the scene for the last 6 years, including a stint as a staff member at Night Palace. Hawkeye is currently serving as Firefly's biggest headache.

Plan to stay after our meeting. Fridays have become hot play nights. Once the DSF demo is finished, the regular Paddles crowd mixes with our attendees, and lots of good scenes and mingling take place.
