It's called Boomish! and its live in New York at The Connelly Theatre (220 E.4th Bet A & B) on July 24th and 25th.
What is BOOMISH!? The cookin-est live variety show. Imagine what might happen if Lawrence Welk rose from the dead, bought a sampler, and staged a hostile-takeover of The Price Is Right. Brace yourself for a multifaceted (and at times multi-scented) multimedia experience you won't want to soon forget (or soon recover from)." The show features a host of guest appearances including Danny Kastner from The Apprentice.
The same people who put on the acclaimed Prohibited Beatz parties in NYC are putting this on, and you can definitely catch some of that dn'b rhythm in their sound.
I also just saw that their CD has a remix by Warp Records' Acid Lovin' Legend Luke Vibert, which scores them points in my book.
