Places to go in Hoboken

Hi, can anyone help me. I just met a really nice lady from Hoboken and I'm going on a first date with her. I know she likes local pubs but want to find someplace nice to take her. Any ideas? I'm not from Hoboken and have no clue and places to go?

There are tons of restaurants in Hoboken. Do you know what kind of food she likes? (or definitely doesn't like?) It also depends on what type of atmosphere you are looking for. Here are some suggestions off the top of my head:

http://www.amandasrestaurant.com/

http://www.courtstreet.com/index.html

http://www.3fortygrill.com/?doc=restaurant

http://www.anthonydavids.com/

(their website isn't up and running yet but it is a cute, cozy place)

Frankie and Johnnies on the Waterfront
14th and Garden Streets, 201-659-6202

Thank you so much. Honestly, I have no idea but I will ask her. I met her on Match.com. We just talked for the first time but she seems really nice and I just think it's important to make a date nice. I only have her picture from her profile and what she has told me so far. I'm going to ask her when we talk what she prefers but I'm kind of a little old fashioned and want to make a good impression by finding some place nice to take her. I don't know enough about her to know if we will click but I know this she was really beautiful and had the nicest voice. Other then that I just met her and don't know if we will hit it off or not but wanted to do some research and make an effort to show her a nice time. So, thank you very much.

Try The Elysian Cafe on 10th and Washington in Hoboken. It has two sections which offer formal and informal and the food is very good.

Best of luck.

If she likes Italian, Margaritas on 8th and Washington is great. It's really good food and BYOB. The 340 Grill (that linnetbird mentioned) is a very nice upscale place.
