The New York Nexus Cafe 

I know this is not supposed to be a dating site but I think for valentine's day and like a week leading up to it, it would be really cute if there was a way to send anonymous emails thru this site to other board members.

How would you see this working? I assume you would want to be able to respond to such a note. Give me some more details about how you think such a system should work.

I don't know anything about programming but I thought the sender could be anonymous. Then the recipient could just hit reply in their own email, right? Maybe not, dunno.

Well, if it were to use email, then the sender would have to give an email address, so it won't be anonymous anymore.

I am planing on making a message center for the site over the holidays. This is a web based messaging system that is not email but looks kind of like it (check out the Message Center on MTV.com). I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to add the capability for anonymous messages. We would just need a way to tell the anonymous user's apart. I could probably use a randomly generated ID.

There is a pretty good chance I can get this going. I will have to think about it some more.

Mike just make sure you please re-direct all female sender's messages and emails to my address please... errr umm sorry, did I say that out loud?

Be able to post on this Board to members anonymously. Then we can see what other people think too!
I get enough weird e-mails from people.
