A board dedicated to the musings of 'The Young and Carefree'

Pursuant to the postings on the Hoboken Discussion board, and in particular to the recommendation by mzprocrastinator to have a board dedicated to "the young and careless" (to balance off the board dedicated to "thirtysomethings"), I hereby formally suggest that a board be created for the purpose of discussing the concerns of the younguns in Hoboken.

If anyone else thinks that this would be a good board to have please speak up by replying.

I'm in my mid-30's AND I'm young and care-free. Will I be excluded simply due to my age?

I share similar concerns as Denise as far as the focus of the board. What would be the difference between "general discussion" and "young and carefree"? Unless, perhaps, it is specifically referenced that the general discussion board will take on a more serious tone than the "light and easy" young and carefree.

No-one is going to be banned from the board due to their age! I'm sure no-one would mind if I posted on the thirty-something board, so it would welcome anyone. But it might be a good place for the youngsters (such as myself, at the tender age of 18) to get together and chat (Oh, dude, Britney Spears is so hot! - just joking). You have to admit that there is a difference in the viewpoint of a twenty and a thirty year olds... So, whatcha thinking?
P.S. Not all 20-yr olds are carefree, so if anyone has an idea of a better name, it would be great!

a better name?

Just for the record. I'm not attached to any name in particular.

"the barely legal" is both humourous and catchy

"Approaching 30"
"Not there yet"
"Carefree and Careless"
"The Young-Minded"
"The Britney Spears Generation" (Well, maybe that's the 10-20 year olds of Hoboken)
"That 80-90's Show"

Ok, these are really bad.

some of these apply to more than others

"die, old farts, die"
"pediatrician referrals"
"unwrinkled and unattached"
"no thanks, you could be my grandfather"
"what is a record?"
"acne anonymous"
"carded constantly"
"over 40 years left to retire"
"just out of college"
"just left the frat house"

I'm sorry to change the subject (cause i can see that you guys are having a grand old time with this one) but speaking of "Unwrinkled & Unattached" & "Die old farts die" (which by the way was really really funny-I cracked up and almost fell off my chair) but my question is does anyone have any info. on the medical procedure: Micro-dermabrasion?

Any info. out there?
Thanks

I posted my response on the General Discussion because I thought it was better suited there. I hope you did not mind. Sorry.

So the board is now up. mzprocrastinator is the
loving host. This should be fun.
