Finally.........it only took me 5 months to find something that worked for me! I start Monday morning!
I'll get my work schedule on a 6-wk. rotation, so hopefully I can still be social with you guys..........until I move anyway......

consider
reading on the way if it doesn't make you nauseous
eating breakfast on the way to save time
putting on makeup on the way to save time
let me know if our leaving times are ever compatible - I could maybe at least give you a ride to the LIRR if your workplace isn't near mine in Long Island

I will be commuting to Garden City (Mineola stop-LIRR, NY. I am a Retail Fashion GSM (Group Sales Manager). I was lucky to work Wholesale for a year with Anne Klein, but got laid off last Nov. I couldn't find another good Wholesale position, so I'm back in Retail. I'll have crazy hours, so I won't be around much.
My next project is to get an Auto(don't know what yet) and possibly move in June-July.

I left @ 7AM this morning & got home after 8:30PM. I will definitely be moving ASAP.
Yes, Mineola/Garden City is Suburbia. I am going to rent a one BR as close to a beach as I can.
