I'm curious: Can anyone recommend an agency, job board, networking place (and/or mob guy) that was particularly useful in finding a job?
Discovered yesterday that Yahoo! has quite a comprehensive list of agencies sorted by location and hi-tech/non-hi-tech. Also, the "Directory of Executive Recruiters", or as I call it, the "Big Red Book" lists most agencies in the US; around 3000. My current strategy of sending an a resume to every agency in America has yeilded one or two promissing connections.

Maybe Vito Corleone? But, he only controls the gambling and politicians. Barzini may be a better bet.
Today I put my pride in a little box and applied for a full-time position at Radio Shack! Atleast it may provide enough income to move out and some much-wanted health insurance.

Sorry to tell you but since Radio Shack stopped the 'Battery of the Month' club in the '80s I don't shop there any more...
But if you can get Teri Hatcher to show up (without Howie Long) I will gladly drop by and buy a diode or something.
