A $25 ad in Yahoo classifieds got me the results I needed. Damn near started a bidding war in the process.

When I told my buyer I'd accept $900 since it needed new tires and exhaust, he jumped at the deal. Makes me think I priced too low.

In any event, both buyer and seller walked away happy.

After I got home, I looked at my email account and of all the people to whom I informed that "I had a deposit", three offered to out-bid (w/o knowing my final price). This for a 17 year old Civic.

Classifieds with pictures: that's the way to go.
