greetings from Belize

Isn't the internet grand. I'm about 2/3 through my trip and having an incredible time. Just came back from Tikal in Guatemala which is one of the most awesome things I've ever seen. I took tons of photos but not a single one will convey the true strength and majest of the place. More about my adventures when I come back.

I hope everyone has a happy turkey day.

Windy

So Windy, did your moniker get inspired by a song by The Associations?

File under '60s folk rock....

Windy
The Association
(Ruthann Friedman)

Who's peekin' out from under a stairway
Calling a name that's lighter than air
Who's bending down to give me a rainbow
Everyone knows it's Windy

Who's tripping down the streets of the city
Smilin' at everybody she sees
Who's reachin' out to capture a moment
Everyone knows it's Windy

And Windy has stor-my eyes
That flash at the sound of lies
And Windy has wings to fly
Above the clouds (above the clouds)
Above the clouds (above the clouds)

------ flute ------

And Windy has stor-my eyes
That flash at the sound of lies
And Windy has wings to fly
Above the clouds (above the clouds)
Above the clouds (above the clouds)

Who's tripping down the streets of the city
Smilin' at everybody she sees
Who's reachin' out to capture a moment
Everyone knows it's Windy
[repeat and fade]
