Can anyone tell me what it was about and if it was any good? Good horror or goofy horror?

I didn't go cause my allergies kicked in last night. I don't think everyone would have wanted to listen to my sniffing and sneezing the entire time.

Sorry to hear about your allergies. The was good, though I would not say it was actually a horror movie. It was more like a sci-fi than horror and it had some comedy mixed in as well. Of course, some of us started treating it like a Mystery Science theater 3000. This was yet another movie I had never heard of. It kept me intrigued and had a cool ending (not one of those silly Disney endings).

Thanks again Windy for another good pick. Next week is Summer of Sam.

Kinda late to respond...but I just had to share how great the movie was. Donnie Darko is amazing!
