Hello All,
Seems there is a virus being passed around under the guise of being an official mail from Microsoft. One of the newsgroups I subscribe to has recently been inundated with bogus emails for a 'patch' . We have been warned by another member of the newsgroup who works in the industry.
"That is a virus do not open emails that say they are from microsoft and have a patch. Real patches come through windows automatic updates not from email messages............. Microsoft seminars taught by members of the Microsoft company and they warn at each one that this is a virus sent out to look as if it came from microsoft."
