Hi I am a eiki level one and am interested in a level II attunement. Are distant attunements advisable?

Only you can decide what would be good for you - seek out lots of information and then you can make a decision. There is an excellent site at Meditative Serenity and the host thereof does distant attunements I believe.

In my view hands-on attunemnts are preferrable - one may actually get some teaching and a littel experience along with the Attunement

Distance attunements are a substitute - but there is no substitute for reiki practice experience.
