So It looks like the upgrade has introduced some bugs in the message board system. The good news is that I can reproduce it so I should be able to find out what's going on and fix it.

Thanks for taking the time to try and get it straightened out. For the record one of my posts was cut off. And i'm on Windows XP Service Pack 2.So i don't think we can say it's just apple/mac users like you had mentioned earlier.

- the 'reliable' bulletins I have gotten from computer savvy folks suggest that the Service Pack 2 introduces some features that can screw up how some exisiting programs or links operate
So the problem may be due to the Service Pack, not the new server.
It would be interesting to know if anyone having problems has not installed the Service Pack 2
I have yet to install the SP2 and have no problems.

I don't think SP 2 is anything but annoying security updates. I've eliminated a good portion of the crap with it. But i doubt I got it all.
However, I've had SP 2 since it first game out. Evidently we were one of the first of the limited release folks(they only gave it to a certain number of folks at a time through automatic updates). And i haven't had any problems with the board until the last few days.
Which doesn't rule out SP2, mind you. But I have a hunch it's something more on the board end since everyone seems to be having these probs at the same time.

I really liked service pack 2, untill several rather annoying software problems stated to appear. Quite a few programs are needed to be updated to make them compatible with SP2, so yes that could be a problem.
