Mari Hall will be teaching her new ONE: The Sacred Reconnection class on July 16 in Asheville, North Carolina at the Advanced Reiki Institute.

ONE is unique; it is neither Reiki nor an extended system of Reiki. ONE is highly refined and concentrated spiritual energy that brings greater harmony to the body, mind and soul. Physically it travels through the meridians of the body using specific touch-points. One works on a deeper more profound level than other healing systems. You will be able to use the energy of ONE as soon as you have completed the course. ONE is perfect for everyone ddesiring to expand his or her process of growth, integration and positive change including people in the practice of Reiki or other energy therapies.

Mari Hall is a Professor and Dr of Education in Social Services and also holds a Doctorate degree in Theology. Mari is the co-founder / facilitator of the semi-yearly 21-day Virtual Usui Retreat. She was one of the first Reiki Master Teachers in the UK; and was the first in Norway and Czechoslovakia. Mari has taught Reiki to over 40,000 people worldwide. Mari is a highly respected figure in the wider Reiki community, and her books are international best sellers.

She is the Founding Director of the International Association of Reiki (est.1989), who has influenced the development of professional Reiki practice and the standards for teaching; Mari has actively been working with the International Board of Complementary medicine for the standardizing of teaching and professional practice of Reiki within the European Union. President Havel of the Czech Republic recognized this work when Mari was nominated for the prestigious Heart of the Country award, which is the Czech equivalent to the Nobel Peace Prize.

She currently is introducing her new work ONE to the International Reiki community as a means to integrate more spiritual essence into our physical bodies thus becoming clearer instruments for peace in our world.

The Advanced Reiki Institute welcomes Reiki practitioners and energy workers of any lineage and school. Why does all the cool stuff happen in Asheville. I lived the vast majority of my life in Raleigh. I had heard Asheville was big for reiki and massage. but now that i live in TX everything seems to be in Asheville. : )~

Also, the energy of the mountains around Asheville is comparable to the energy in Sedona -- Page Bryant, who first popularized the vortex phenomena in Sedona, moved to Asheville about 8 or 9 years ago after discovering that the energy here is more healing. Power places and sacred sites that figure in native Cherokee legend, and much more that makes energy work here a special experience.

Plus, the place is a quiet island that European visitors say has a very European feel, while North Americans compare it to San Francisco, Boulder, Portland, Seattle or Vancouver. People who visit usually want to come back.

It just amazes me that I wasn't aware of it while living in NC.

The closest I've been in recent years was Boone. The mountains are gorgeous.

I had no idea about the vortices there either. But i wasn't connected with the New Age types in Raleigh.
