Reiki in the Real World

I'm planning a teleseminar to share some of my techniques from 8 years of reiki practice. I'm wondering if there would be demand from this forum for such an event and if so what would people pay for good solid profesional experience delivered via teleconference?

Dear Dennisbaker,
Sounds interesting, however, I believe in-person teaching is more traditional and effective as it would be hands on which is what Reiki is about.

I agree that a large part of Reiki is hands on, but much of the self healing is being ignored in the rush to gather students and teach.

My aim with this is to gather those people who would benefit from a focus of regular times for self healing and a few techniques that i've tested and know produce results in the real world.

Level Two is about getting people good at distant healing - with measurable results. i'm very aware that the spiritual / personal development elements are key and these are what produce the changes in peoples health and approach that most reiki students are looking for.

If the results of a reiki session are less stress and feeling good, thats one thing, if the results are a measurable change in health then thats another. ultimately the measurable outcomes are what people are searching for when they sign up to any process which claims health benefits.

I've worked for years doing individual sessions via instant messaging and telephone with people and would like to show people how its possible and the results that can be achieved using those technologies to deliver the connection.

Dear Dennisbarker,
I agree that many are in the rush to gather students and teach. I say go for it! I personally have never had a course in energy work that wasn't in person and hands on except for occasional reading material. As for if there is a demand...?? I do believe we can all learn from each other. Are you willing to share your lineage and which school of Reiki you have been taught from as that is a consideration for some.
