I'm a marketing & PR coach who loves to work with professionals, healers and entrepreneurs. In addition to having an MBA, I am a Reiki Master and am certified in Holistic PR, NLP, ThetaHealing and Magnified Healing. I combine my traditional business background with energetic principles to offer a "holistic" blend of marketing techniques. Do you remember to send Reiki to your business cards and marketing materials?

Diane,
Hi,
I am curious as to what value there is to doing Reiki practices with non-sentient things? To make use of the energy requires at least a primitive capability for Intention. Business cards and other inanimates certainly do not qualify.
Cheers,
RC

Hi RC,
Thanks for your comment! As for me, I find this type of Reiki practice very beneficial. For example, prior to attending an event I will put my business cards between my hands, send Reiki and ask that the cards be filled with "Reiki and Divine Love and Light" and ask that the cards find their way to those people to whom I can be of service (which sets my intention.) Reiki is part of my everyday life and I find it very natural to send the energy this way since I believe that energy is retained in everything, including non-living items. The way I look at it, at the very least someone will be getting a business card that I've filled with pure love!
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to explain this practice.
Diane

Diane,
Hi,
You responded as I anticipated. You are hardly alone in the belief that lifeless objects will retain energy such as done with Reiki practices. I will not argue that such objects as business cards will not hold energy but I will suggest that it is very likely only for a very short period. So perhaps to some degree it is really the people who find the cards much as fish sense the presence of bait. I do not think, though, that the objects find the people. Afterall, people must take the card for the connection to be completed. Although the resulting 'connection' may be the same (someone has your card) the energy dynamics of the the two possibilities I have suggested are rather different.
:)
Cheers,
RC

Hi Diane
Thanks for this post. I have recently discovered that using reiki throughout my working day, which can be tiresome and stressful, makes me enjoy my work. Im a selfemployed electrician, so I reiki the light im installing to bring light into peoples lives, or the waterheater to bless the water that runs through it. Now its not work anymore, but an oppertunity to spread love. And the more you practise, the more natural it becomes.
And i believe that if I am one with all, I can give reiki to anything. Regardless if it is a living thing or not. It definatly cant hurt to try.
Thanks for the post.
Love and light.

Diane,
Hi,
I might also add that one way to 'sell Reiki' is to say that Reiki helps one sell (whatever it is one is selling). The prophet('s) motive and the profit motive do, bottom line, at times intersect.
Cheers,
RC
