I have referenced a chakra that is the location of your four elements. There are several referrences I can make. Nataive Americans have information about these four elements as they affect you. At least, in the NOrthwest, this is true. For instance, air people they label as the butterfly clan.

I have written a book containing this information, "Sense Dominance". My teacher deplores the fact that I named them by the sense that they are related to. She prefers to always go back to the element, air, water, fire, and earth. I include this in the book which was written eight years ago, so it is not the up to the minute. It is very basic, none the less. I distribute them.

In Tibetan Buddhism we have Five Elements and in the Tendai Buddhism Usui Sensei practiced, they speak of six Elements....!

Japanese Buddhist:
Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Void
[Mikkyo Buddhism adds a sixth: Consciousness]

Greek (Aristotlean):
Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Aether

Taoist:
Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, Wood

As you can see, the concept of FIVE elements is quite a popular one.
