Hi All,
I've recently been working with a very powerful Reiki meditation called: 'Reiki Ajari-Yuga'.
The meditation, which is intended for Master Level practitioners, is deeply rooted in the traditions of Tibetan and Japanese Esoteric (Vajra) Buddhism and incorporates karmic cleansing, empowerment and mystic union with Reiki.
If you feel interested in working with this meditation yourself - or know someone who might be - email me and I'll forward a copy to you.
[If you do decide to work with it, be aware that it is potent - it has the weight of over 1000 years of Esoteric Buddhist 'Collective Consciousness' behind it!]

James,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- thanks.
- but as A Teacher wonders: Buddhist Collective Consciousness??
- as different from Hindu Collective Consciousness??
- or Kabbalistic Collective Consciousness??
- or.........Collective Consciousness??
- from a Jungian perspective, Collective Consciousness is "not this" and "not that" and "not another", afterall
>:-}}
- collectively speaking, of course.

Firekeeper, hi
You Say: "but as A Teacher wonders: Buddhist Collective Consciousness??......- from a Jungian perspective, Collective Consciousness is "not this" and "not that" and "not another", afterall"
Not being a Jungian (never got beyond study of the "Collective UNconscious" in that sense), I was actually using the term 'Collective Consciousness' in the sense of a 'group mind' or 'egregore' - at least in one definition of the the term 'egregore' :-)
i.e.: a kind of group mind which is created when people consciously come together for a common spiritual or esoteric purpose...

James,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- yes, indvidual groups have what they may perceive as their own specific and unique rituals and traditions and belief systems that might be taken as a 'collective consciousness'
- or perhaps in more circumscribed terms their egregore??
- yet, historically, does not the similarity of ritual, belief, symbols, etc across peoples of the world who 'probably' have never contacted each other on the physcial planes suggest that the Collective Consciousness is intimately connected to the Collective Unconscious??
- any particular ritual simply being the more "Momentary" expression of those "consciousnesses"?? - their egregore??
>:-}}
- thus the Collective Unconscious is not static - just as the Collective Conscious is not static - just as egregore is not static??

Dear Firekeeper,
The egregore is, I would suggest, considerably 'tighter' than a collection of individuals or groups bound by common purpose if they have not actually worked together...leaving the intimacy of the bond between collective consciousness and unconsciousness open to interpretation.

goldenisis,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- open to interpretation???
bagl
- to paraphrase someone: neti, neti,neti.
>:-}}
- aside: I do not believe I defined egregore as you suggest as a "common purpose" nor did I or do I necessarily agree with such a defintion
- and I agree with your inference about "working together" if I may assume you mean some enhanced harmony of energy to facilitate "work" -
- however, the "common" defintiondoes not require this mpore special "harmony" since in traditional societies it would have been the Shaman who actually "did the work"
>:-}}
- as for the intimate connection between the Collective Conscious and the Collective Unconscious??
- C.G Jung has, so far, laid it the best, at least for me

Dear Firekeeper,
I was unaware of a shaman doing work in a Buddhist meditation group; and in some forms of western magic, the saying is "the chain is only as strong as its weakest link."
