Reiki Level I

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on healing art which stimulates your body's innate healing resources, encouraging a return to wellness. All conditions of imbalance are rooted in the human energy field, and it is the underlying energetic patterns that must be addressed to create conditions for wellness. Reiki reconnects you with your ability to heal yourself, others, plants, and pets. Reiki does not require complicated techniques or extensive training. It is easy to learn and use. Taught by two registered nurses who use Reiki in their jobs, Libby and Maggie's warm, heart-centered approach provides a nurturing environment for learning this ancient healing art. In Reiki I you will learn the origins of Reiki and receive Reiki attunements to enhance your ability to transmit life force energy through your hands. Practice giving and receiving Reiki to replenish and nourish yourself and others physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You leave the workshop with a certificate, fully trained to do Reiki. After completing this program, you are eligible to take "Reiki Level II," on Sunday, November 3. Contact hours for Nurses are available for this program. If you require a continuing education certificate, an additional $10 is payable to the instructors upon completion of the program.
Libby Barnett, MSW is co-author of the best-selling Reiki Energy Medicine. She is a Reiki master who has had more than 30 years experience blending Reiki with conventional healthcare. She recently completed a Reiki special for PBS and have taught over 4,000 people nationwide, including medical and nursing students at Tufts, Brown, and Yale. Reiki Level II

The ancient, sacred Reiki symbols empower you to communicate more deeply with your body and your Inner Being. You leave Reiki II class able to focus and intensify the Reiki energy to promote balance and harmony on all levels of your being and to create a deeper, more loving connection with your core energy and others. In Reiki II you will learn three Reiki symbols and receive the Reiki II attunement. You will learn to practice on people and situations at a distance and you will learn a technique to access cellular memory to gently dissolve emotional blocks and limiting beliefs. You will deepen your effectiveness and leave the class with a certificate, fully trained as an advanced Reiki practitioner. Contact hours for Nurses are available for this program. If you require a continuing education certificate, an additional $10 is payable to the instructors upon completion of the program.
