distance "interpretation" of the K-K seemed to require me to

assess my own Mindfulness and the nature of the energy

practices I had been involved in over the years -

- it is important, in many practices, not to involve

personal energy in the work with others (I

of course have to use some of my own energy to stay

conscious)

- I would say, too, that I have been better able to utilize

my own self-energy practices for my own well being -

-at least it seems that way - thus far

- and I feel more Mindful of the energy that others share

both when it is requested (and also when it is not)

Thank you for taking the time to answer my queries.

Yes you are right, the asking of the questions was prompted by the asking of the same question of myself. When you mentioned how long you had been working with the KK, it led me to reflect on how my world has changed since becoming involved with Reiki (about 3 years now).

For myself I am much more conscious/mindful of thought patterns both good and bad which ultimately has turned out to be a very good thing. As well, I have become much clearer in understanding who I am, and what "life" is all about. However that being said, not only am I more aware that I have much to learn, but also that I experience this learning with much more joy than I did "back then".

Many times things are posted here in the cafe which prompt me to dig a bit deeper and learn more about myself. It is challenging and thrilling all at the same time. Energy work has definitely been a wonderful bonus for me, and I certainly appreciate all the knowledge you and others here at the cafe, have so willingly shared.
