You can list your workshops and training events for free at a new Reiki and Energy work group at yahoogroups that I've started to help people who want to learn basic or advanced energy work techniques. There is also no charge for listing events on the group calendar, adding yourself to the teacher database, or mentioning your workshops in posts to the group.
If you are interested in announcing your workshops and events, you can find the group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ReikiWorkshops/. You can also join the group by sending a blank email to ReikiWorkshops-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and replying to the confirmation email you receive. Of course, you would also be more than welcome to post direct messages to the list discussing your events and trainings at any time.
As part of the discussions on the list, we are encouraging people to make recommendations of workshops and training events that they have benefited from -- in a positive, respectful manner. We don't allow any kind of "flaming" (bashing) on the group, whether of individual members, different systems or styles of Reichi, Seichim, SHKM, Qigong, Chios, Pranic Healing, or other styles of energy work, individual teachers, or groups. The idea is to provide a place where people can get the best information on how they can grow and develop in their lives and their practice.
The group was just started yesterday, and already has had over 125 people sign up even though publicity for it really has just started today. That already puts it in the top 50 of the 516 Reiki and energy healing groups that yahoogroups hosts ;-> Judging by this quick response, I feel that it is going to be very popular because of the group focus and how useful it can be to energy workers and those seeking to learn energy work. I hope that you will participate in making it a useful tool for all of us.
