Has anyone read "The Power of Now" or "Stillness Speaks", they really leave an impression on you. It's well worth the look at.
Birdie
Reminds me of Firekeeper's mindfulness. And it's made me take a look at how I approach situations.

Birdie:
Thank you for mentioning "The Power of Now". You were the last of 3 instances I've heard this book mentioned. I figure it is time for me to go and buy the book. The first was my boss who says it is a great book, the second was at my meditation class, and now you the 3rd.
I feel I have to take it as a sign, that it is a must read.
Thanks

Funny you should ask this question!
Last year, three people told me that I really should read "The Power of Now", including a beautiful cousin of mine who lives in Bangkok and teaches students all around the world her life system of reiki and spirituality......she told me that if I read only ONE book, it should be this.
So, being a slow learner, I finally started to read.
And YES. WOW!
It is a truly amazing philosophy and I only wish I had read it about 20 years ago!!!!
Smiles!

Otoharo!
Birdie, I have not yet read this book, either one, but my experiences have shown me both.
Only, by staying in the now, can one emerge from under the stigma of our past. Stay in the now, and the choices you make this minute are powerful choices. Mull on what I wish I had done when, and the muck gets so think one can not even climb through it.
