Hi all.
Shambhala may be a legend but a good one. In Tibet there just may have been a kingdom called "Shambhala".
It is said to be found north of river Sita. It is divided by 8 mountain ranges.....
Any comments etc on this topic is welcome.
book title: "Shambhala: Sacred Path of the Warrior" by Chogyam Trungpa
The first few pages available for reading (from "Amazon.com") seem to real.... Anyway the book seems to be an interesting book.
I look forward to reading it one day as well as reading comments on it. Thanks in advance.

starjasmine,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- if you search Amazon for Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, I think you will find quite an array of his published works

- he was primarily responsible for bringing Tibetan Buddhism to the West and founded Naropa University, the first Buddhist University in North America
- you might also look into Shambhala International

Dear starjasmine,
The title of your post "found a book on Shambhala !?" caught my eye.
I found a book on Shanbala in the oddest spot. About four years ago I was working part-time at an English pub in downtown Milwaukee. One night I was in the dungeony basemant of the London Bridge Pub breaking down empty cardboard beer case boxes to be taken out. I picked one box up and inside was a book. It was called "The Secrets of Shambala" and it was hard bound and clearly brand new. I asked all the employees and no one had lost such a book.
I guess will find out about the rest in 2012. Or not.
Namaste,
Michael
