Hi,
I've just started this book and have found it so inspiring! Anyone else ever read it? This woman walked for peace for 28 years with no organizational backing and without a penny in her pocket. What I found inspiring is she walked her talk (trusted God to provide all that she needed)and prepared herself spiritually and physically for her pilgrimage 15 years before she began it.

I have not, hileah. What is the author's name, please? Sounds like a female Gandhi. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Ponderings,
The author's name is Peace Pilgrim. The book was put together by her friends after her death in 1981. She gave up her given name when she started walking for peace in 1953.
I posted the Peace Pilgrim website in the Resources section of this website. You can read the entire book there or request a free copy. Amazon also sells it. I borrowed it from my local library. A great read in my opinion. Enjoy.
