I am way behind. This is definitely not a book that you can pick up and read in one seating. I have always said I am a channel not a healer. After reading this paragraph I want to be a healer........ do you?
She says "I had to let myself see the tremendous energy and soul imbalances that many people live with. Humanity carries with it terrible pain, loneliness and deep longing to be free. The work of a healer is a work of love. The healer reaches into these painful areas of the soul and gently reawakens hope. S/he gently reawakens the ancient memeory of who the soul is. S/he touches the spark of God in each cell of the body and gently reminds it that it is already God and, already being God, it inexorably flows with the Univerasl Will towards health and wholeness."
!!!!!!!!!To gently reawaken hope!!!!!!!! Awesome.
Love and light

"Hands of Light" by Barbara Brennan is by far the most powerful book that I have gotten my hands on.
I have found the graphics to be very helpful. Each time I channel Reiki energy on someone, I have been able to go to this book afterwards to find an explanation of what is floating in the aura. It also reassures me that it is not my imagination running wild.
It is a very technical book that requires reading several times over to fully absorb as well as a lot of volunteers to work on.
The pendulum chapter is very detailed with excellent drawings.
