the Power of Now

I'm currently reading (actually listening on CD) to this for the second time. The first time it took me a bit of effort to wrap my mind around some of the concepts; now, a year later, it feels like talking to a wise old friend.
Has anyone else read (or listened to) this book?

Demetra,

I have read the book and listened to an audio interview that Mr. Tolle gave on 9/11 and another audio set of a lecture he gave. I have loaned them out and now forget the names of each set. The lecture set was my favorite and have been wanting to listen to it again. I had a similar feeling when I listened that one, it was like something familiar. He has a new book out but I have been on a book buying freeze and will get it later.

Recently read The Force by Stuart Wilde. I kept re reading paragraphs and felt like I did not want to forget the words --- again!

Hi Katherine,

I had the opportunity to re-listen to The Power of Now while driving to and from Maine (I now live in Connecticut), and what a help it is.....I am going through some life changes which have not finished playing out I think, so some perspective on being in the moment is welcome.
Tell me about the Force. What's the theme? Is it hard to find? (My local bookstore is 30 miles away).

Otoharo!

Please put the information on resources board, as I would like to get this.

The only way I have been able to move out of the experience of discovery of my worst stuff, is to continue to be in the now. Be Here Now. Is certainly poiwerful!

Demetra,

The author describes your Higher Self as a collective body of energy. He describes the Force as an energy that experiences evolution -- is part of each and every thing in the physical plane -- immortal and never ending -- the inner light of "livingness" within all things.

It's a little book, only 73 pages and about $13.00 at the local book store. It can be found online for less.

Enjoy

I have the book "the power of now" but haven't read it yet. I guess I should get my head out of the harry potter books and get "some" of my more serious books read that have been waiting in a pile on the shelf. :)
Have read many of the stuart wilde books and have a couple of his cassettes, they keep you thinking!
