Maybe it's obvious what this means...

...but I 'd like to check out with everybody here anyway...

I had a dream about this guy last night.We were frenchkissing passionately.Actually, it was him who was more ''active'' if I may say ;-)

Is that my projection, his projection(which I may be picking up psychically) or a mutual projection? :D

As for it being a self-aspect...hmmm...could it be an indication of narcissism?

Or maybe I 'm just overanalyzing?

Thank you

Pepi,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- the possiblities you mention even briefly suggest once again that few dreams are "obvious"

>:-}}

- and yes, it is possible to try and read too much into one dream

>:-}}

- now if this guy has appeared in other dreams then that would be another matter

- narcissim?? we all have a little (and some more than others)

>:-}}

- a key component of narcissm is rejecting the love of another in favor of one's own reflection, so to speak

>:-}}

- could "he" have been a some facet of your own Yang attributes??

- certainly. this is not, however, likley to be narcissm.

- another tack might suggest that sometimes people lack confidence with others in the sexual and\or emotional arenas (whether heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or......??)

>:-}}

- hope this helps

Once again, thank you Firekeeper :-)

But yes, this guy has appeared in many dreams of mine over the years...and this is the second time there's a sexual element attached to the dream...most of the time he appears to me as an older, wiser friend...That's why this dream got me thinking...could he be interested in my in *another* way too?I know I used to be very attracted to him but I made the conscious decision to stop entertaining any such thoughts about the two of us cause he's in a relationship with someone else(me and unavailable men!!!).

Who knows...I, for one, am a bit confused...

pepi,

- yes, can be confusing (and perhaps frustrating) when we do not act on such matters when someone might be available and then cannot let go when they are no longer available

- sometimes the issue may be the olde "fear of commitment" gremlin at a point where a relationship might form (but not acting) and then hanging on to feelings for someone one cannot have can act as a good defense against other more available "opportunities" for relationships if we are uncertain about relationships, for example

- or sometimes perhaps we "fantasize" about someone who is unavailable but do not move ahead with attainable relationships

- the sexual content in the dreams, if that is how it feels to you, could be sort of a wishfulfillment and perhaps also operating to keep you hooked in to the fantasy of a relationship and thereby again holding you back from exploring elsewhere??

- yet it sounds as if his appearance in your dreams in the past was rather different but you might not have paid much attention until now

- too, some kisses are for goodbye

- hope this helps

Otoharo!

Pepi, Firekeeper has covered the water front, so to speak. There is also one more thing. When we have chosen "to go home" and all that covers, we come to the place called a marriage of your own feminine and masculine selves. This can be discerned within oneself. So do not call it that until yourself recognizes it as so.
