The Reiki Cafe 

I am brand new to your cafe. Hello all. I am in need of help in interpreting the following dream. I was attending the wedding reception of a dear friend of my husband and I. While there I was naked, and was actually trying to hide from some of the guests by sitting in the fetal position in a room that was small and semi private.
What gives?
I have been told that I am sick. Is this an indication of a grave illness of somesort?
Help!

That's a very common dream, no need to be worried about being sick. What does nudity mean to you? It is best that the dreamer interpret their dream in a way that makes sense to them...but if you really want my insight...I would say that you are insecure and afraid of being yourself in certain situations, like the one in the dream.

Don't worry or stress over it, keep a journal next to your bed and jot down your dreams right when you wake up, its a good way to see what's going on in your subconscious.

- most times people will know if they have a grave illness - there will be clues that are difficult to ignore (though I have known a few people who manage to ignore some serious symptoms until it was nearly too late

- but you also do not say anything about the 'feeling' content of the dream

- be that as it may - the nakedness and the trying to hide in the fetal position suggest perhaps vulnerability; or perhaps some sort of 'shame' issue? or a guilt issue of some sort?

- remember too, that the dream may have nothing to do with your friends - perhaps you are having some Yin-Yang balance struggles of late?

lets look at the symbols ....wedding (union) you were in attendance (present) and in an attempt to hide (protect, shelter) you were naked (pure) in the fetal position (human development)....what a beautiful dream....I must say i think about how many receive the invitation but few actually attend the Wedding ! You are most like on the cusp on merging your spirituality into full intergration of your life....its your coming out party!
