OK, the first was me being found lying back in a recliner, my husband found me after an assault of some kind. I noticed something coming out of my nose. I began to pull and one after another I pulled (sorry here) tampons out of my nostrils! There must have been 20 of them when I was done. Any clue??? Other than my 12 year old daughter used one for the first time?!
The second one was not to much later in the night. I was running away from some weather or something with a girlfriend of mine. We ran through a traffic tunnel and on the other side the wind picked up horribly. Next thing we see and feel huge boulders falling at us down a mountain. We run and dodge these boulders one after another. We come upon a group of people and they begin to run with us to a hole in a fence. I stop and notice my daughter is frozen in fear. I run back to her and we begin dodging these huge boulders together. The dream ended before we made it to the hole in the fence.
Would love some feed back on these as I don't have a clue!

Tracey,
Hi.
Sounds to me as if both dreams reflect issues you have that may be fomenting a bit and having to do with the onset of your daughter's menses and the teen years ahead (and perhaps stuff reflecting or projecting your own experiences during these years in your own development). Perhaps dodging boulders (successfully it seems) reflects some hopefulness that the dating, sexuality, drug, and other relatinship issues, etc ahead for you and your daughter will be navigated successfully.
Cheers (comfort food of your choice on top)

Otoharo!
Tracey, you have to know your own symbols. If it were my symbols, this would mean simply that you are assisting your daughter to enter womanhood.

Truer words have not been spoken! I have been consumed with making her transition a smooth one (if that's possible, lol)
Last year when her menses started we took a mother/daughter day away from school and work to be together and celebrate her womanhood. Something I had been planning for just this time. We talk often and keep emotions in the open as best we can.
I am concerned for her of late because she is now having terrible headaches, over the top emotional issues and bone pain during Pre-men time. I am considering the suggestion of birth control pills (from the Dr.) to help alleviate the symptoms. We have documented the occurences for months now. Just hate to pump the hormones. Any natural suggestions?

Hi Tracey,
Have you tried her with evening primrose oil? It is supposed to be great for alleviating the symptoms associated with PMS and is totally natural. Or perhaps one of the Bach flower remedies would be suitable....

Tracey
P.S. Her headaches have started right on time again and she slept most of the afternoon.

Hi Dakota,
I'm sorry I cannot tell you off hand as I haven't taken them for a while, but if you go to a health food store, I'm sure they will stock them and be able to advise you. trying to avoid high intakes of caffeine around that time might be helpful too, as caffeine can exacerbate the symptoms.
Gentle Blessings

There are numerous safe and effective herbs which can be used to normalize hormonal issues, AND homeopathic remedies as well. For homeopathy, if you search on the web, there are several sites that allow you to find the symptoms that match the remedy.I find homeopathy a bit difficult to decipher at times, but if you find the right remedy, it works well. As for herbs, I have found chasteberry to be a life saver for numerous hormonal symptoms for myself. It is a hormone balancer. Quite safe. There are some nice books out there, including Louise Tenney's Today's Herbal Health for Women or Anne McIntyre's The Complete Woman's Herbal. Make sure your daughter is eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables, and enough whole grains so she does not get constipated. Apparently, constipation can really wreak havoc with hormones, as the detoxification system for the hormones is affected (overloads the liver). I would think very, very seriously about artifical hormones, as this can be injurious to health. Is there an herbologist, naturopath or a practitioner of oriental medicine you can consult? That would be one way to go.
Good luck,
Feather
