The Reiki Cafe 

This isnt a dream perse.
I often have dream like visions just before I go to sleep.
Anyway in my dream/vision I was a little girl and was wearing a pinafore type dress. I was about 5 in the dream.
I had my skirt in my hands to make a place to keep things.
In my skirt were thousands of pebbles.
I remember my concious mind saying "wait I thought we were done with this" (and simultaneously realizing I had had the vision many tinmes before) and another voice added "just a few more to go" and as I watched the sceane the little girl me dumped out most of the pebbles at her feet.
There were still some pebbles left in her skirt.
But in my mind I thought "ohhh..that makes sense".

All I can think is that my "inner child" has been carrying around some little burdens and is slowly letting them go.

Ah well she is being a little girl!
She does not want to get rid of the pebbles and is doing as she is told only :)

During Reiki training we were encouraged to take 21 pebbles & put one aside for each day we did self Reiki. Thought of this as I read your post & wondering if this was about clearing work that you are doing on a deeper level than concious level.
