Hi dreamers,
Just wondering if this has ever happenned to anyone else. Several years ago I had a very vivid dream where I was in a cave looking out into a little valley with mountain in the back, trees, water, etc. The other day I nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw a photo in the paper of a place in Utah that looked exactly like my dream. Of course, one could say I saw this spot in a book or paper & then dreamed it.
peace & joy,
holobon

Do you doubt your experience?
I will just bet you have other experiences that may be called clairvoyant :)
I had a recurring dream when I was a child and young teen.
In the dream I was flying across an amusment park. I was always quite frightened. But eventually I learned control and the dream went away.
I had not thought of that dream in many many years. But then I found myself at an amusment park as an adult - it was THE same place though I had never been there before.

holobon,
Hi.
Yes, cryptamnesia of some sort is a possibility. Or, perhaps you were there in a past life?
:)
Cheers,
RC

Dear Holobon,
Namaste,
Yes, this happened to my son.
He dreamt of a river in front of an unique temple with a priest clad in orange robes standing near the door of the temple n a nandi, the celestial bull in indian mythology. He had never seen this place. One fine day , he wanted to visit a random place of worship in a remote village in south India n we went there. He was amazed that even the small details he saw in his dream , the same temple with the same river n the priest, n not to forget the nandi.. were all very much there in reality!

Namaste all!
I think it happens to everybody except that only some people remember it when they wake up. Takes intention and practice to perfect it. I have had a lot of places, people and events occuring before I encountered them in real life. Infact, I have to say hardly any events happen without getting a preview! In case of places I have seen some places that I have not been able to visit, but checked out when I cross-checked on the internet. The mysteries of the dream life are just to be enjoyed and not get attached to!

I try not to get attached to the meaning of events but it is harder the more awesome the experience is or feels to me. :)
I am always interested in the perspectives and/or experiences of others. Not that the majority opinion rules, simply that it aids me in seeing more than my perspective. So your replies are quite valuable to me & I thank you for them.
peace & joy,
holobon

Otoharo!
Holobon, or else, one was there sometime either in a past life, or other life, or one went there while the body was asleep. All these possibilities exist.

Dear Finality,
The possibilities are numerous, eh? That is why I try not to attach too much to a certain belief. Over time, hopefully, the reason is revealed but I have found that sometimes I never really know for sure. That is the mystery of life I suppose.

Otoharo!
Holobon, I have found that I can really know what the meaning is in each instance. Listen for the answer when you ask of yourself.

Dear Finality,
Yes, sometimes one "knows" the answer. But there are other times when emotions or lack of focus distract & for me that muddies the waters. I admit to not being very evolved. :)

Holobon, don't chicken out with that one. Coll had us communicating with ourselves while we were the greenest of green horns.

Dear Finality,
I admit that I am not aware in each moment. Being chicken or honest? :)
