The Reiki Cafe 

This morning I dreamed for the second time of being in an apartment in a very tall building whole outside walls were almost all made of glass overlooking a city.

Suddenly, on one side of the building, I saw a huge dark dark cloud developing nearby. The scene was amazingly beautiful from the huge glass windows until I saw some of the clouds start swirling. Then tall buildings at a distance were being torn up by the tornado into nothing. My male friend and the woman who lives in this apartment quickly went to the other side of the apartment which were walls of windows as well to hide in a closet. I instead went into the middle of the apartment, to the bathroom but there was not closet to hide in. At that moment, I started concentrating on surrounding the whole building in a protective bubble so the tornado would pass it by. I could hear the wind blowing fiercly and the building vibrate weakly. When things calmed down, I came out to find parts of the city destroyed like a bomb blew it up and somehow I knew that the tornado went between this tall building and another without harming either.

In another dream, something was going to attack me and I placed my hands up, palms facing the attacker and huge amounts of energy came out to ward off the attacker.

I have also used my third eye to destroy danger. Sort of like a red laser beam shooting from my brow area.

With each of the dreams above, I would awaken feeling like I had actually done those things.

I'm thinking that with my daily Reiki cleansings and aura cleansings, that I am actually releasing negative energy at night and the Reiki is cleaning up the debris.

Sounds like a good interpretation to me!

Off topic sort of - but I had an interesting thing happen tonight. I have a small car and other cars almost always overwhelm me with their headlights when stopped in traffic.
Tonight there was a large SUV behind me and their lights were blinding me through my side mirror. I thought "Id like to Reiki that" (joking to myself really) and put my hand over the mirror to block the light. All at once the SUV turned off its lights. Well now NO ONE has ever been that considerate before. But I thought it was cool even if it was only a coincidence.

Perhaps you are acknowledging or hoping that you are developing more awareness of what is around you, ability to see things clearly & utilize Reiki to defend self & others? Might there be a component of anger? Red laser seemed aggressive. Gee, your dream reminds me of Zena the Warrior Princess. :)

I don't know about the 3rd eye representing anger because it's always been a rich red color that I rarely see in the physical world. And yet, perhaps you're right, this is my defense system. The 3rd eye kicks in when I sense impending danger although I have used my hands in my dreams at least once so far.

Since my consciousness has opened up, more emotionally unstable people have been coming into my life than previously and I sense danger from some of them. The more I pull away from the dangerous ones, the more they want to get into my pocket. If they persist, that's when my 3rd eye will sometimes automatically kick in but that's another subject which I need to address in another part of the message board.

My reply:

Nope. The dreams are not about the 'emotionally unstable' people coming into my life but more about myself and the changes that are occuring within. I think it's more of a cleansing process of all the gook that has accumulated through the years that I couldn't let go of and I might be feeling more vunerable to psychic attacks.

You are right about my working on ways psychically to turn these miserable people away. I just haven't figured the best way to psychically keep them away without giving them a headache!

My reply:

Usually in my dreams, the person (usually one) that is with me is a Guide in disguise. However, in this particular dream, I think it's outside influences trying to herd me in a direction of least resistance (hiding in the closet) and I in turn choose a path of direct confrontation with the danger at hand.

I think your dream is pretty straight forward.
If I were interpreting these dreams for myself I would see that there is turmoil and stress but rather than hide in the closet I am dealing with those stresses straight on.
I think this is a good dream. But again - that is how I would interpret the dream for ME.
I dont see that dreams always have to be warnings or messages of what may be.
But often I think dreams are as encouraging us, congratulating us and showing us what we really are as opposed to the doubts we believe ourselves to be.
I would think that the dream feels powerful in large part because the dream is powerful. Your inner self is the source of that power. Nothing wrong with that and no dire message either. But again - thats how I would interpret the dream for me.

this seems to be a recurring phenomena in your dreams - could you be undergoing some sort of attack (psychic or otherwise)that might be forcing you to defend yourself and others?
or, could it be that you are realizing just how much power "intent" carries (overcoming the forces of nature - tornado)?
