Yesterday when I awoke, I was puzzled by a dream I can no longer recall, there were vague memories of eagles in it but all I remember is the end before I woke: I was standing in my front yard & there was a green & gold eagle (brilliant shining colors & no, it wasnt really a parrot, it had all the characteristic features of an eagle with the exception of color)and then I was aware of my dog standing to my left looking perhaps a bit younger & healthier and then I noticed 2 wolves to my right quietly standing there & looking up at me & I looked into the eyes of the one closest to me.
Any ideas that jump out at you?

- symbolism of wolves varies widely across cultures, dogs and eagles somewhat less so

- dogs (and wolves as canine cousins) spiritually, can be guides for those who are passing from the realms of the living into the Bardo (or other afterlife realms)

- they also may guide those of their own kind

- eagles are often symbols of strength and war and renewal (as eagles in some traditions are fabled to be able to 'rejuvenate') - this sounds, of course, a bit like phoenix lore

Well I am certainly no expert regarding dreams but a couple of things jumped out at me when I read your post.

The colours of the eagle....Green which signifies healing and also the heart chakra and gold which is highly spiritual and can be used to represent the crown chakra. The wolves to me represent protection. The fact that your dog was there too, bearing in mind the problems she has right now with her sight, maybe these are all connected...healing and protection for your dog. with you the link in the middle.

You mentioned looking directly into the eyes of the wolf and eagles have amazing eyesight too.

Anyway just some thoughts to add to the pot, hope it helps :)

Duh! I didnt even see the eagle eye connection. I was so focused on the colors!
The dream was the day before Brandy lost her sight & it seems as if it might be about spiritual help/protection for both of us. Or even a wake up call for me. Both Firekeeper & your comments suggest to me now that I didnt spend enough time thinking things through the day I had the dream. I shared it with my BF that morning & went on my merry way. It wouldnt have changed anything that happenned to Brandy but maybe just having the dream did me a world of good that I didnt realize at the time, much like a hypnotic suggestion.

Holobon, what a glorious experience. Lazaris shared with us that Goddess uses these types of experiences to communicate with us. She is asserting the relationship that humanity shunned long ago. (That is, the masculine element that made Goddess outlawed.) If this were my dream it would feel like a communication from Goddess, an enchanting moment.

What came to mind for me before I read your post was this.

The eagle is represntative of seeing from a higher perspective and having communion with Great Spirit. Seeing Gold and Green are wonderful healing colours. The green for healing ( oh intuitive message here!)....
Green is representative of Earth healing and the gold is for Christed consiousness ( heart) healing integration. Heaven and Earth Healing.

Your wolves are teachers here to assist with something on the physical plane. Being on your right side of course this is a male energy so it is something on the physical plane you have asked assistance for.

Seeing your beloved dog having healing is also heart centered for you. Lots of healing going on and lots of light coming in at this time. Layers of old energies peeling away. Lots of old stored emotions and beliefs healing at this time.
Time of learning. Time of letting go. Time of prayer and abundance..
