The Reiki Cafe 

I had a wonderful dream this morning of lying down in a shallow hot springs next to an elderly female elephant. She was very small, like the size of a 3 year old but still an old elephant. There was a Navaho like blanket under her and she was completely under water but fine. A woman behind, like a teacher, said that she likes the hot stones and mud.

I lay down next to her and began positioning the sones around her for comfort along her back and I kept taking handfuls of the hot earth and smoothing it over her. At the end I wrapped the blanket around her and she seemed so serene, warm, comforted.

It was like taking care of something very dear to me.

The start of the dream was my entering a camp of sorts where I was supposed to learn. It was all very shaman like. I have been reading alot about shamn work and doing alot of self work of late. I have been working to remember my dreams and my meditations have become more informational as well.

I looked up elephant under totem animals and this is what it said:
Strength
Royalty
Connection to ancient wisdom
Removal of obstacles and barriers
Confidence
Patience
Using education opportunities

The way you described it sounds very nurturing, almost womblike.

Anyway hope this is of some use to you in fathoming it out.
