Hi
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this one. I had a strange dream last nite... my arm began to itch just above the right palm, looking at it I noticed bumps coming up through the skin - which turned into letters - don't recall what they said... I think I was more focused on how this could be happening. The words were contained in an oblong shaped raised border, as I watched, colours began seeping into the raised patches until it ended up looking like a tatoo (tatooed from the inside out)
The area was very itchy and I woke up scratching it. It all felt so real. Does anyone have any ideas about what this could mean? I'm stumped.

Dear Harebell,
Just thoughts:
Itching certainly draws attention to whatever is causing the irritation...something has gotten under your skin & is trying to get your attention? Perhaps you are sending a message to yourself?
Tatoos can be about what we identify with or the way we wish others to see us.... perhaps an "invisible" tatoo is significant? Something trying to work its way to the surface?
peace & joy,
holobon

harebell,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- without some knowledge of the writing contained in the tattoo it is difficult to say much other than some aspect of you in your Unconscious is trying to get a mesage to you
- tattoos can reflect a Persona we may have doubts about - so instead of living that Persona, we have it tattoed on - as a badge of some sort
>:-}}
- might there be some apsects of yourself you are not showing others completely that might be important to share now or in the near future??
- the itching? perhaps just another modality involved to help get your attention
>;-}}
- again this is a case where single dreams are tough to interpret - if you diary then perhaps some further dreams may elucidate

All Blessings,

Namaste Harebell
The key could be if the itching happened first or if the dream happened first. Sometimes, when you are asleep something happens physically and then the dream is around it to get us to awaken. For eg., if you need to visit the bathroom, you might dream that you are in one! But then, if the dream did happen first, the message from the tatto could be something you need to know. Pray for the message to be delivered again.

Greetings Holobon, Firekeeper and Mal...
Thanks so much for your all your thoughts about my dream. Its the first time I've shared a dream in this way and your response is much appreciated. The combination of your replies has provided me with more clarity when thinking about it. I do get the most intense feeling that I'm trying to send myself a message, something trying to work its way to the surface, as you said Holobon.
And Firekeeper, you mentioned about single dreams being tough to interpret... I don't usually diary, but just recently I've made notes on a series of strange dreams that are so intense and life like... they are all very different in content yet all seem to have the same theme in them, a message seems to be trying to get through to me in many different ways and it seems that always in the dream I'm aware of this but never get the message, when I wake up I have the feeling I've missed the message cos - (like with the tatoo) - I'm focusing on the phenomenom rather that what was actually written in the content. Perhaps this is bringing attention to my focus in life too.
And Mal, I definately feel that it is something I need to know... the dreams keep coming. But the message still eludes me. It feels like something very deep and 'blocked' and I'm very aware in the dreams of it being a message to myself, but when I try to focus on it I come up against a sheet of complete darkness and the dream that is, ends, and I re-enter it in another place where I seem to be searching for someone but they are not there (it's usually a dark clearing leading to a forest, occasionally there is a glowing campfire in the clearing with one person there (a stranger) I speak to them...but perhaps I'm asking the wrong questions, a matter of focus again?).
I'm sure whatever it is will work its way through eventually (and patience is something I've been working on for many years now... anxiety taught me to be still).
Thanks again to you all for your time and sharing your thoughts... its much appreciated.
Warmest Wishes

Dear Harebell,
Just thoughts:
I have found that sometimes the more I "try" the more my progress is blocked. If I can find a way to flow into the experience I do better.
Have you tried Reiki while you are going to sleep to relax you?
peace & joy,
holobon

Dear holobon
Gonna ease up on the trying... or 'try' to he!
I relax into sleep everynight with reiki. I'm sure it'll work its way to the surface eventually. Talking about it has helped. Thanks for you kind thoughts.
Warmest Wishes
