Just a general question

Hello Friends,

As we all know, when we are dreaming of another person, most likely we are dreaming about some aspect of ourselves. But sometimes, I'm sure, we are actually dreaming about that other person. Is there any way to tell the difference between these two situations?

Blessings,
Roxy

Roxy,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- one view is that if the other character in the dream is 'behaving' in a way largely familiar (what one might expect from the other person in waking life) then it may well be that person

- even so, other dreaming mechanisms may well 'pollute' the dream a bit with projections

- if the dream is level two or three and one is able to interact with the 'character' (and remember the interactions} then one may decipher - especially if it turns out there are some 'prophetic' aspects

- one might also be surer it is the other person if that person tells you they dreamt of you as well (during the same sleep period)

>:-}}

- but, in general, I look for the projected material first

- hope this helps

All Blessings,

Otoharo!

Francisco Coll gave us a number of options in regards to dreams. We are actually experiencing what seems a dream to us, (that is, out of body). We are viewing a dramatization that shows us either a question we asked or an issue it is in our best interest to consider. It may be a mish-mash caused by the previous day's events, or foods we ate before retiring. etc. Only through experience do we gain the sense we need for interpreting them.
