Recurring dream

Hello Friends,

Every so often, I have a dream that I find a book I borrowed from the library that I've forgotten about. It's months or even years overdue. I figure that the fine on it must be enormous. I debate whether to return it, or just keep it and hope no one notices it. Interpretations?

Thanks,
Roxy

Roxy,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- well, one view would be that this dream falls in the category of an 'anxiety dream' - as it is recurring it could relate to some long-standing dynamic

- books can symbolize the obvious and also the esoteric or what is not easily seen or understood (the Unconscious, in particular)

- so, it is pretty certain that there is something in your Unconscious that has been sending you signals

- if you have the dream again perhaps you would be able to open the book - this takes some 'lucid dreaming' type skills, but might be quite interesting if you were able to do so

- also, some libraries, from time to time, have 'forgiveness' days where people can bring in long past due books and have the fines (transgressions) forgiven

>:-}}

- hope this helps

I had a recurring dream as a kid. These daises were innocently dancing on a thread. An image of a wallpaper my mom put on the wall. A metalic dog angerily barking and the daises falling off the thread screaming. I think my mom died a few months after. It still hurts.
