Dear Friends,
For the past couple of night I have had dreams about having my mother die. In neither case, did the mother in question resemble my actually mother. In the second dream, my actual mother was my companion during my "mother's" death, and we went into a room that was filled with the things she had made, all extremely beautiful pieces of knitting, crocheting, that sort of thing.
I should let you know, that my actual mother made her transition over ten years ago, and I have reason to believe she is now acting as a guide for me.
Rock On!

Roxanne,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- from a Jungian perspective it is possible you are trying to sort out aspects of yourself you had projected onto your mother (unconsciously, of course)
- the room of which you speak is likely an aspect of your Unconscious\Psyche
- what gives you reason to believe she is acting as guide for you in any other way than the influences she had upon you (before and after her death)??

Mr. Firekeeper,
Thanks....the Jungian perspective makes sense.
As to the guide part? Two seperate people with psychic ability (including one notable Bear), have seen her, and have heard her apologizing for the ill she had done me in my childhood.
Also, I am very sensitive to the energy of entities. During a time when I was severely depressed, I felt my mother....I think her intention was to comfort me.
If she's not my guide, she's certainly around.
Rock On!
Ms. Roxy

Roxanne,

- I have had a few, hopefully well selected, 'readings' over the years but I make it a policy never to get a reading from anyone who knows anything about me other than what they will learn from the reading
- it is far too easy to pollute a reading if one has any prior personal experience with the person being read

Just to let you know.
The first psychic was a total surprise to me. She was my first student, and I had never met her priorly. She just picked up this stuff. It was funny, I was teaching her Reiki, and she was giving me a reading.
As for the Bear? Although he knew me, he had no knowledge about my mother (I don't make it a habit to go around discussing her, my early life would depress too many people. As a matter of fact, that's more than I want to say about it now.)
So those are the examples.
Rock On!

Ms. Roxanne,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- when I began working wih one of my earliest teachers I 'knew' from our first meeting that she had been sexually abused as a child but not by a parent. After we had become more than just student and teacher she told me, while we discussed phobias and in particualr hers, that she had been abused by her grandfather
- the key here is that I did not share my intuitions with her early on - that would have been inappropriate
- as my position is not having readngings done by friends or acquaintances I also feel that remuneration for a proper reading is essential to keep it "impersonal", so to speak
- so, if I pick up informatin during a an energy work session of some sort I do not share that information unless it has been agreed, beforehand, that such feedback will be given
