Hello Friends,
Last night I dreamt that I was at the Atlantic shore, on the other side of the dunes from the ocean. There was a bit of an inlet nearby. It was sunset. I said to my companion (no one in particular in my life), that the only time I prefered the Pacific was at sunset. Despite this, there was a beautiful sunset reflected in the inlet.
The only thing I can think of is the times of life as reflected in the sun rising and setting on the respective oceans. Any other thoughts?
Blessings,
Roxy

Ms. Roxanne,

Otoharo!
My first though is that you are picking up on the preknowledge that after the big shift, you will be seeing sunsets rather than sunrises.

Mr. Firekeeper,
I couldn't identify the person I was with. Just kind of someone there, with no particular identity.
Blessings,
Ms. Roxy

Ms. Roxanne,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- as this companion is almost certainly some aspect of yourself, perhaps getting to know a companion who so kindly shows up at sunsets by the shore would not be amiss???

Dear Mr. Firekeeper,
The only thing I know about this companion is that she or he is a good friend. Considering that, I suppose getting to know this person would be a good thing.
Any thoughts on the Atlantic/Pacific question?
Blessings,
Ms. Roxy

Ms. Roxanne,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- the Ocean can very easily be taken for the Unconscious

- I am not sure I would make much of the Atlantic-Pacific distiction
- unless

Dear Mr. Firekeeper,
Thanks for the mention of the unconcious, it brings to mind attitudes I have that I was not aware of on the surface. It has to do with my associations connected with each of the oceans. When I visited the Oregon shore, the Pacific was beautiful, but the water was too cold to swim in. As for the Atlantic, it's not so pretty, but, after all, what good's an ocean you can't swim in?
Gets back to friendship, and my companion. The Atlantic is a friendlier ocean.
Blessings,
Roxy

Ms. Roxanne,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- one view of sitting on the shore of the Ocean is that perhaps you are bing invited to 'swim deeper into your Unconscious'
- of course, perhaps sitting on the shore suggests some resistance to exploring deeper layers of your Unconscious
- or, perhaps that, for now, you are satisfied with where you are on that journey

Mr. Firekeeper,
Yes, I think you've hit it with your last comment. I think I am satisfied where I am. The overalll feeling in the dream was one of satisfaction.
Or perhaps swimming in January isn't to my taste.
Blessings,
Roxy

Ms. Roxanne,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- one view is that the Unconscious knows no Seasons - it is as inviting a place to 'swim' as we are willing to allow it to be
- and our mindfulness permits

Otoharo!
I have lived on the beach at Savannah and visited over night at the beach on the Pacific. I love them both.

Dear Finality,
Oh, I love both oceans, too, but for different reasons. It's just in the dream they seem to be metaphors for something, and evidently I prefer whatever the Atlantic represents.
Love,
Roxy
