Past life dreams?

I've had a few weird dreams.
Archetypes mostly. for example, I saw a roman centuarian, a holy lady who seemed like a monk, She offered me tea.
The other night I was in a room with others and I was being given an introduction into something, I was asked to stand up, I think so they could see my posture by this lady.
I said Oh! I've forgotten my blanket.

But that was maybe foresight, exept for the monk and the roman soldier(who I thought was kind of cute) ;)

Now to the dream.
I was in a bed having been wounded behind enemy lines, ww2 in spain. It was a field hospital. I was being questioned by an officer in spanish or he didn't have english, anyway I could understand him, although I'm not sure if he knew this.
All of a sudden he was being called away to his ship which was being overrun by the allies. Somehow I got the impression that this was at or near the end of the war.

I'm troubled by the feeling of familiarity as if I was remembering this. I was kind of observing this from another angle at the same time.

As for my feeling on the foresight dream?
Last monday I atteneded a zen meditation evening for the first time. Since I was thinking of doing this for some time, I may have had a wishful thinking type of dream.

As for the spanish dream, a couple of weeks ago I saw Pans labyrinth, this story was set in spanish at the end of the civil war during ww2, so maybe it was in my sub concious for all that time.

Any ideas?

jaguar,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- in the very occasional event I have the feeling that a dream has some connection to a past life, that connection will simply reflect the Karma that was brought along into the current life and may be manifesting now

- sometimes our dreams can yield clues to karmic issues with which we need to deal

- but we must pay attention to the clues and make an effort to decipher them - this is one of the primary values of a dream diary

>:-}}

- some caution is needed about putting too much meaning into most dreams taken alone

- yes, the reading you did prior to the dreams you report may well be reflected in the dream content

Thank you, mr. firkeeper sir.
I have to get myself a diary and write down my dreams. What amazes me in some of those dreams is the details.
I don't understand how the past life intrudes on my present one, and how my dreams reflect my karma.
Maybe my present difficulties are the answer to my dilemma, by reaching back into the past and dealing with, I can therefore remedy my present and consequently my future. What fun!!

All I need now is someone who deals with past lives, and karma; hmm the search is on.

Cheers

The search yielded surprising results.
In my local bookstore, secondhand, treasures unmeasured can be found.
So, there I found two books, written in 1897, about reincarnation and karma. The sage who wrote them is a scholar, who gave lectures on said subject. Should be an interesting read.
I'll try and keep y'all posted on my results and research if possible.
