My boyfriend had a dream about ants on his toe and having to go to the doctor to have them removed. Anyone have an idea what this might mean? Thank you, Laurie

- interpretting single dreams can be quite tricky - even misleading or downright erroneous - unless the contents include clearly archetypal material which I am not sure that this dream does

- having put forth that caveat..............

- one view is that the ants surely reflect a message to which he responded in the dream by 'seeking 'help' (which is likely a message as well)

- the presence of the ants might suggest some complex of issues (since ants live in colonies\groups) that have been nagging persistently for quite some time that need attention (since he has not been able to "remove" them himself)

- that the ants are on the feet, one might entertain interpretations that relate to groundedness or ability to move in any direction, or some issue(S) relating to the meridians that terminate in the feet\toes

- also, multiplicity (more than just one ant in this case) often does not receive a very favorable interpretation

- hope this helps in some way

Another one I have arrived at a bit late! :-)

Small wriggling creepy crawlies, often with many legs, such as ants & spiders are often projections from the unconscious that signify things that have been troubling a person & holding them back from total self expression.

I was attracted to this post as my son, when he was 16, told me of a similar dream of worms (!) emerging from under his toenails & scuttling away. He felt relief in the dream. I discovered afterwards that this was shortly after having his first sexual experience!!

I hope this gives some insight.
