I haven't read through any of the other posts, but was wondering if anyone else ever dreams in both color and black and white? Sometimes when I dream, significant things within my dreams, usually the characters and elements that play some sort of role within the dream, are in color but insignificant elements, such as background scenery or anything that doesn't play a role in the dream, are black and white.

Has anyone ever experienced dreams like this? Does it have any significant meaning?

Typically I dream in color, but sometimes black and white elements sneak their way in. I always assume that the black and white elements are just filler and don't necessarily play a role in the overall meaning of the dream...but who knows! >8^)

I've dreamt in colour. not sure about black and white. The colour dominating the dream is significant. e.g. red for anger, I guess would mean that something is really pissing you off in the waking world, but such is the unconcious.
I've dreamt that I could sing or play musical instruments really well. Now since I don't in waking life, what would that signify?

My dream life is actually me living another setting. Perhaps you do these things and don't realize them when you are conscious.

Hi there. I had a dream recently of a black cat currently residing with my family, with a bloody mouth with pink gums and red blood. My first thought is am I that cat in pain. Any way I think I dream in sort of filtered light as well and color in my dreams seem vivid and have significance as to maybe get some message out to us to get our attention if we are visual possibly. Just my opionion.
