Has any of yous had a spirit visit while you are sleeping? I have i think. .. I sometimes dont remember my dreams. And then there are ones that seem sooo real. And i wake with the smell or feel of the spirit. And when any of you receive a vision while sleeping, how do you know the difference from a vision, visit and a dream?

You did not say whether you have reiki. It is important to know one's own energy field, how it feels, how it looks, etc. If one has reiki, also to know this energy. Then all the other energies one encounters can be distinguished more easily. You are the only one who knows and sees what you do.

Im sorry, I meant "a spirit". Like when my uncle past, i dreamt about him and at the end of the dream we said good bye and hugged. Upon wakening i could still smell him and feel his arms around me. And i still remember that dream. And that was like 3 years ago. My question is, do you think that was a visit from his spirit?

I do have Reiki. Iam a reiki practioner. But i have had visions and what i think were visits from spirits before i had my attunements. Although i think i was born with Rieki, have been healing with my hands since i was 5, on plants and animals and my family. Thanks soooo much for your info.

I am glad you have clarified a bit what you refer to as spirit. In my vocabulary, spirit is a word for God or some function of God. I would call visits from a deceased person as that person. If someone I do not know, but I discern it is a former human, I would consider a ghost or "spook".

I have likely told about how Francisco Coll came to earth to work at clearing away all the souls of people who hang around earth rather than going on to other places. We nicknamed them spooks. When a person does not know that they are dead, or realize it, they may conitnue to live their old life and may be dwelling in the same dwelling as current residents. When I went on cleansings of the planet, I could see these souls pop up out of houses like popcorn. It is good to assist them to go on about their own business rather than to hang around here. We referred to a soul as going "home" whereever it is that is their place to be.

When one reads the Urantia Book and discover all the worlds where people without bodies can inhabit. There is an approtriate place for everyone at all times.

To the first question: yes.

About the 2nd: That can get blurry. I've had lucid astral OOBE. But sometimes I might have a dream that I'm going out of body I think. Sometimes my dreams are so lucid that I think I might be interacting with a particular entity or several. Instead of dreamscape characters constructed by my Lower and Higher selves. Like last night with Nicole Richie. I yearn for her about as much as I do Earnest Bognine in a silk teddie. But there we were nonetheless.

But also I've had a few encounters with entities that were more real and lucid than our "living" experience. I knew for sure I was not dreaming at the time. Hard to fathom I know. After that I knew a bit about what the talking coyote and some old Buddhist's texts mentioned a few times but I never really understood. That being the assertion that our "real" incarnate experience that we share in now is the "Illusion". The real reality is on the other side.

Understand the language one your own dream experiences. More germain to your question; when in doubt ask in the case of a possible visit. Ask questions while you're there. In the case of vision or dream ; kick back and enjoy the ride. If you are bugging about infrastructure details of the experience, you will most often miss the message or insight from it. That part is easy; as you drift off to sleep set your intentions to remember your dreaming to come. Then set your intentions to be brave and calm so you can enjoy what comes.
