The Reiki Cafe 

Dear Friends,

Had a rare doosy one this morning. I'm in what seems like a normal and vivid dream construct. While the 'construct' was vivid I'd give it 6 on the lucid scale. 10 being awareness of sleeping surroundings and near full recall of other realm interactions.

Anyhoo, I found myself sitting in a chair in a front room setting with 3 guys on a couch next to me. I was quizzing them on what it's like on the other side. The one who had the most to say was sitting closest to me. I could hear him in my language alot but alot seemed to get lost/ muddied in cultural linguistic mismatches. He was certain from the Middle east. I also noticed that he had what looked like a healed over fatal bullet hole in his neck. He was going on about politics, injustice and violence I do remember. But he was not angry.

The guy in the middle of the couch did not say much so I don't remember him too much. When Middle East guy was done talking I asked the middle aged american seeming black on the end of the couch what is was like being on the other side. He said he missed being able to taste some McDonald's. He did indicate that he got stabbed in a street thing. I did not press him on details.

We were done conversing; these 3 guys and me and then things really got challenging/scarey. A motley stream of entities came rushing in. I felt besieged. Some were confused seeming and lost. To those I offered a brief warm shoulder rub and lamely counseled to veer towards the Light. There were others who did not seem malevelnent but asked to touch me. After a few I shyed way from that feeling intuitivly that is was my corpeal energy that they were after.

By this time transitioned entities were really swarming in. This guy who from his looks was from the american west circa 1800"s. He was mean and sneering. Got right in my face and the others gave him berth. I remember he said ;
" I seen you from a distance and thayr ain't somethin right about you". I stood my ground and asked basically what his problem with me was. That seemed to pale his attempted punk-out and what he said in response was tepid energetically.

At that point I pulled the plug and woke up in a snap. I have never ever woke up with such an intense urge to smudge me and/or the crib.

Any insight or Mindful comments are as always greatly appreciated.

- one view is that trying to send true, unenlightened entities to the light is really simply refocusing them on being reborn

- some would hold that those that hang around the longest have some inkling that their reincarnation may not be into one of the 'better' realms, so to speak, so they resist the most (which likely does not improve their Karma)

- as to the characters? If the activity was dream, then they almost certainly were aspects of you (projections) venturing out of your Unconscious and some perhaps from Shadow realms of the Unconscious

- if an astral experience or at least a partial one, then I would need to know more about the confused and seeming lost entities before venturing commment

That is reassuring to me. I've been struggling for a while with the experiential defining line between the lucid and astral. I've theorized for a while that there is some dovetail effect. This experience very seemed to go from dream construct to astral (which has a quite notably different "feel" of course).

As far as the entities I encountered directly, I'd say that half were confused and I did not mind offering some brief comfort (albeit a bit lame I felt). I had an experience some years ago where i helped a boy who died days before get home but I consider myself no expert in the field.

Back to the experience, it was like they were queuing up. One's who were not per say confused began to show up. They knew the (afterlife)deal it seemed and asked if the could touch me. Not sexually; the comforting shoulder rub and words the confused one's got. That's when I became wary. There were more malevolent seeming entities moving about but they kept their distance. The only one that approached me was the punk cowboy kid. He had a friend with him but he kept his distance too.
