The Reiki Cafe 

Hi all:Want to tell you about a dream I had the other night...First i think it helpful to say that I was raised Catholic.I have always had a deep conection to Mother MAry...even long after having branched out from "only Catholicism"...Anyway in my dream a Blonde women about my age(40) is sitting next to me.She says I know you say Mary but what Goddess do you mean...I say Mary..she says what Goddess do you mean...I am getting agitated..i say I do not put a Goddess name on her..I say mary.....this continues back and fourth until I finally say ISIS ok ISIS.I wake up.....I know it is best for me to work with what it means to me...I have done that..i feel the need to get others hits on it as well...Thanks so much for your feedback in advance...Cath

A quick search yielded the information that Isis is known as the "great mother, goddess of love and fertility" etc...

So you are dreaming about Mother Mary, and Great Mother Isis. Since they are both references to "mother" and that in itself to most means love and nurturance, perhaps this is suggesting there is no difference, that the God, Goddess, or whomever you choose to honor is simply a being of love and nurturance? No seperate identities, just "love".

Dear Cathy,

If I had this dream, I would say that I was being prompted to move beyond rigid teachings about Mary & see her in other manifestations. I was raised Catholic & had the hardest time embracing anything outside that dogma. I was aghast the first time I had a vision of Christ while being Reikied. Saw Jesus Christ & then I stepped out of him. I was mortified until I realized that I had finally connected with the Christ inside me & the knowledge that we carry the Christ inside. We are the body of Christ.
By the way, there were others in the group that had visions of Christ during that session. When I spoke up others were shocked & shared what they had seen.
