I hope that the following will make sense.
I have someone (a man) who lives with me. We have a close relationship. ( pardon me if I don't name the type of relationship we have)
At night, even in the same place, I lose conscience that the someone is in the same home. I would have him in my dreams and then if I feel that I miss him (in my dreams) or that I am far from him, I would actually wake myself up to look for him.
I think being attached to someone can really scare people
if they fear that they may depart or lose the loved ones. So even in a dream or state of sleep, they may still wish to have their loved ones close to them.
I believe that I am one of those who can get too attached to people and objects.
I wonder if anyone can expain what happens when you fall alsleep and become unconscious. Also if we have too much fear in our life, can we then have many sleepless nights and strange dreams? Thanks in advance.

starjasmine,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- perhaps the thing to remember is that our needs (desires) for attachement(s) have to do with us -
- really have nothing to do with the "object" of those desires
>:-}}
- so too, our fear(s) of de-tachment have to do with us - not the that which we feel fear of losing
- we have simply projected aspects of ourselves upon these objects -
- it is desires (of all types), after all, that lead us back thru the cycle of death and rebirth
reiki all around,
all blessings,

Hi Starjasmine,
It sounds like you have a very close relationship with this man - enough so that your subconscious is always aware of him even to the extent of waking you to seek him out.
Being attached to someone is not necessarily a bad thing, but it can cause difficulties if there is too much of an attachment. Remember, sometimes the greatest gift of love you can show to a person is to let them be who they are, and do what they do.
As to what happens when we fall asleep - well some people believe while our bodies rest, our spirits are busy travelling around,learning, communicating with others, etc.
Hope this helps
In light and love,
Featherpoint

Thanks for your advice.
We all need to have time to ourselves.
I wonder why our minds don't really rest when we sleep.
I did however manage to sleep without having a single dream on some nights. Those nights seem to be better than those where dreaming is present. (that is no dreams = more restful nights)
I appreciate any possible feed backs. Thanks in advance. take care and have a good weekend.
